CARDIOVASCULAR TRAINING


Cardiovascular exercise is important, not only for fat loss, but also to maintain a healthy cardiovascular system.


Benefits of cardiovascular exercise include:

  • Strengthens the heart and lungs

  • Lowers blood pressure

  • Burns calories for weight loss

  • Prevents cardiovascular diseases such as stroke, high blood pressure, congestive heart failure, and heart attacks

  • Improves the efficiency of the cardiovascular system in absorbing and transporting oxygen

  • Improves blood cholesterol and triglyceride levels

  • Reduces risk of osteoporosis

  • Increases good (HDL) cholesterol

  • Decreases your resting heart rate

  • Increases your heart’s recovery capabilities

Each F.I.T. workout consists of 25 minutes of cardiovascular training. Your cardiovascular training, as with all of our training will be customized to your individual needs.

 

You will begin with a moderate intensity cardio program to build your cardiovascular endurance and will progress to the ultimate fat burning of HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training). This allows you to burn the most fat in the shortest amount of time!
 

STRENGTH TRAINING

 

Strength training is another key component to improving your body and your life.


Benefits of strength training include:

  • Increased metabolism

  • Increased BMR (basal metabolic rate) – the number of calories you burn while doing nothing at all!

  • Decreased risk of osteoporosis

  • Improved physical appearance and performance

  • Decreased risk of injury (including low back pain and injuries)

  • Reversal of the natural decline in your metabolism which begins around age 30

  • Increased energy levels

  • Decreased body circumference measurements

  • Decreased risk of developing diabetes

  • Increased levels of good (HDL) cholesterol

  • Improved posture

  • Improved functioning of your immune system

  • Improved efficiency of your heart

  • Improved balance and coordination

  • Elevated mood

Your strength training program will be tailored specifically to your individual needs and will progress as you progress in your abilities. Each F.I.T. workout will consist of 30 minutes of strength training, and each workout is completed under the guidance and supervision of a Certified Personal Trainer.

 

NUTRITION COACHING


Perhaps the most important, and most often overlooked, part of your body transformation program is proper nutrition. Your F.I.T. program includes nutrition guides, coaching, recipes, and a daily journal to keep you focused and track your progress. There is no point in working your butt off in the gym if you are not providing your body with the proper fuel for results!

 

The key to success is not only the stress that you put on your body during exercise, but the recovery that takes place after your workout. Proper recovery and “new body building” cannot take place without proper nutrition.

 

ACCOUNTABILITY


What makes F.I.T. different than most other programs is the level of accountability. All of your workouts will be scheduled appointments with a Certified Personal Trainer. Everyday your trainer looks forward to seeing you and they will be a part of your progress every step of the way.

 

Also, you will be given a journal to hold you accountable to your nutrition plan, sleep, water consumption, etc. Your journal also includes space where you will set short and long term goals and track your progress on each goal. Rest assured, you will not fall off the wagon when you are a part of F.I.T.! We will see you through from the very beginning until you reach every goal you set!
